Invitation Wording & Tips
  • Wedding invitations usually go out six to eight weeks prior to the wedding, with the RSVP date set three weeks before the wedding date. If you have guests that are travelling long distances, invitations may go out up to eight to ten weeks in advance to help them organise their travel and accommodation requirements.
  •  When choosing your invitation wording make sure you always include the name of the bride and groom, the time and place of the ceremony, the time and address of the reception venue, the RSVP date and either an address or phone number for reply, wedding dress code optional.
